Experience Neuschwanstein's fairytale charm, followed by lunch in Austria & the beauty of Linderhof Castle incl. gardens. Optionally, enjoy the Alpine Coaster or visit Oberammergau, or both.
Your native English-speaking driver-guide will collect you from your Munich hotel at 8:00 AM, setting the stage for a magical day. Our first stop is the world-renowned Neuschwanstein Castle. Enjoy a seamless experience as your guide escorts you past the ticket line. Capture breathtaking photos as you walk up to Mary's Bridge, the iconic vantage point for unparalleled castle views.
Should you prefer a less strenuous ascent, you can decide on-site to take the convenient bus up to Mary's Bridge. After the approximately one-hour castle tour, your guide will be waiting to accompany you back to the vehicle.
Next, we journey to Austria for a delightful lunch, at our best local spot. Following lunch, we'll explore the stunning Linderhof Palace. Wander through its magnificent gardens and discover the opulent interiors. The newly renovated Venus Grotto is now open and also well worth a visit.
Our final stop is the charming village of Oberammergau, famous for its wood carvings and, particularly, its wide selection of Christmas-themed goods. Your guide will be on hand to help you find the perfect souvenirs and gifts.
We can also do the Alpine Coaster located in Oberammergau and then spend less time in Oberammargau and skip the Ettal Monastry but we can decide that on the day.
We anticipate returning to Munich and your hotel at approximately 6.30pm, filled with memories of fairytale castles and alpine beauty.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
