Dive into an extraordinary puzzle hike through the nature around Eisenach! Your mission: Solve tricky tasks together, decipher clues, and discover fascinating places like the legendary Dragon's Gorge or the enchanted Elf's Grotto.
The tour kicks off on the outskirts of Eisenach and takes you through the idyllic Mariental, the Dragon's Gorge, past the Knöpfelsteichen, the Elf's Grotto, and the Sängerwiese before heading back to the city via the Elisabethplan.
Along the way, you'll find impressive viewpoints overlooking Wartburg Castle and some tricky challenges that will test your team spirit. At the end, you'll crack a combination lock and look forward to some little surprises. You'll have several opportunities to stop for refreshments along the route (food/drinks not included).
Here's how it works: At several stops on the tour, you'll solve puzzles described on the eleven puzzle cards. Use the decoding compass to figure out the number of the next puzzle card. You'll be guided by the directions on the puzzle cards. At some stops, you'll also learn interesting background information about the respective locations.
After booking, you'll get your puzzle materials with all the clues and starting info. Then you can start your adventure whenever you want – at your own pace.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The puzzle materials, including the introduction and instructions, will be sent by mail within 2-3 working days. On-site pickup isn't possible. Please provide your shipping address when booking.
You can do the tour anytime after you get the box, no matter what date you picked when you booked. Please bring the box with you when you want to start.
The route is 8 km long and takes about 6 hours, including puzzles. If you want to stop at an inn along the route, please plan more time accordingly.
We recommend the puzzle box for groups of up to 8 people, so everyone can participate in the puzzles. The puzzles are suitable for participants aged 14 and over; younger children can also join in and have fun with a little help.
Please check for any closures on the route before the tour.
The tour starts at the "Rosenwunder" info board. Walk to Mariental 21-29 until you see this info board. You can also find all the info about the starting point and exact coordinates in the manual. You'll do the tour on your own and start whenever you want. Don't forget to bring your Puzzle Ranger Box! Plan about 6 hours for the tour (without time for a stop or rest).

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
