1. In the footsteps of Goethe and Schiller (30 minutes)
Goethe House: tour of the exterior and explanation of its role in German culture.
Schiller House: the role of the writer and his friendship with Goethe.
Theater Square: Goethe-Schiller statue and explanation of the importance of these two figures in German literature and culture.
2. The Bauhaus and the Weimar Republic (30 minutes)
The Bauhaus School: presentation of the architecture and impact of the Bauhaus movement on modern art and design.

The guide will be standing at the small staircase in the middle of the façade of Goethe's old house (yellow façade).
