Day 1: Arrival in Accra, Ghana. Meet and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Accra City Tour
Orientation by Hausa Tour representative. Embark on a Full day city tour of Accra Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight: 3-Star Hotel or similar

Day 3: Explore Ghana's Eastern Region
In the morning, drive on the winding Akuapim Ridge to visit the Aburi Botanical Gardens which was established in 1890 as a convalescent centre for the British Colonial officers governing the Gold Coast as Ghana was then known. Overnight: 3-Star Hotel or similar

Day 4: Kumasi City Tour
Flight to Kumasi by air. Arrive and go on a city tour of Kumasi visiting the Okomfo Anokye Sword, National Cultural Centre and Prempeh II Jubilee Museum. Drive past the Kumasi Central Market, one of the largest open-air markets in West Africa. Overnight: 3-Star Hotel or similar

Day 5: Akwasidea Festival
Participate in Akwasidae festival where you will have the privilege to witness that Festival, but There is no guarantee for a meeting with the Ashanti King. Breakfast and lunch included. Overnight: 3-Star Hotel or similar

Day 6: Traditional Naming Ceremony
Proceed to visit a typical Ghanaian village to participate in Traditional naming ceremony to claim your African identity. Visit the community school to interact with teachers and school pupils. Breakfast and Lunch included. Overnight: 3-Star Hotel or similar.

Day 7: Assin Manso Slave River & Castles Tour
Travel to Elmina with stop at Assin Manso to visit the burial site of two former slaves from the U. S. and Jamaica whose remains were re-interred in August 1998 during Ghana’s first Emancipation Day Celebration. Overnight: 3-Star Beachfront Resort or similar

Day 8: Kakum National Park & Cape Coast Slave Castle Tour
Visit the Kakum National Park to experience one of Africa’s Canopy Walkways suspended 100 feet from the forest ground for a panoramic view of the flora and fauna of the remaining vestiges of the rainforest. Visit Cape Coast Castle which houses the West Africa Historical Museum for a guided tour. Breakfast and lunch included. Overnight: 3-Star Beachfront Resort or similar.

Day 9: Return Journey to Accra
Morning free for drumming and dancing lessons. Travel to Accra by late morning. Arrive by early evening and rest of day is free for last minute shopping and packing. Breakfast and lunch included. Overnight: 3-Star Hotel or similar.

Day 10: Depart Accra, Ghana
Morning is free for last minute shopping and packing. Hotel check out is at 12noon. Transfer to the airport for departure back home. Breakfast Included
