Being picked up from your hotel, you will be driven to the Coastal towns of Elmina and Cape Coast for your tour. Your first stop is Elmina Township where you will embark on historic tour of the famous Ft. St. Georges Castle which was built by the Portuguese. Standing since 1482, this UNESCO World Heritage site is the oldest European building in sub-Sahara Africa. It is the largest slave fort in the world and became a cell holding up several enslaved Africans who were transported across the Atlantic to the New World.

Continue your tour to the Cape Coast Castle built by the English in 1665 and stands as one of the largest slave forts in the world. Return to Accra after the tour.
