Enjoy an authentic sunset fishing experience in Sfakia, along with a local fisherman. You will fish for barracuda with a rod and enjoy the unique atmosphere of southern Crete.
Enjoy an authentic afternoon fishing experience in Sfakia, together with a professional fisherman, at sunset. The activity starts from the Sfakia cruise port, at a time that is adjusted according to the season and the sunlight, and lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes.
After boarding the boat, we follow the wild coastline of Sfakia, fishing for barracuda with a troll line and a rod. As we move along the coast, we enjoy impressive rocky landscapes, small caves, and the natural beauty of an area that remains authentic and untouched. This is real fishing and not a tourist activity, so the result depends on the weather conditions and the behavior of the fish. The barracudas we usually encounter weigh about 1–1.5 kg.
During the outing, up to two people can fish at the same time, sharing rods and time, as is the case on a commercial fishing boat. At the same time, you enjoy the sea, the colors of the sunset and the relaxed atmosphere of the area.
If you catch any fish, you can take them with you if you wish. Fruit and local wine are offered on the boat, while there is juice for the children. The experience concludes with a return to the Sfakia cruise port, having experienced a simple, authentic, and peaceful evening out at sea.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
