Your adventure begins in Ano Mera, Mykonos, where you’ll meet your experienced guide and be introduced to the rescued horses that make this experience truly meaningful. After a short safety briefing and pairing based on your riding level, you’ll follow traditional donkey paths through quiet farmland and rugged volcanic landscapes shaped by the island’s famous winds. Along the way, your guide shares insights about the terrain and the inspiring stories behind the horses, who have been rehabilitated with patience and natural horsemanship.
The trail leads to the untouched shores of Fokos Beach, one of Mykonos’ most secluded coastal gems, free from sunbeds and beach clubs. Here, you’ll ride along the sand, enjoy breathtaking sea views, and, depending on conditions and experience, may even guide your horse into the water for an unforgettable connection with nature. After time for photos and soaking in the peaceful surroundings, you’ll return to Ano Mera through scenic countryside trails, completing a soulful and authentic island adventure.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Maximum weight: 80kg for beginners, 90kg for experienced riders. Suitable for ages 11–60. Wear long trousers and closed shoes. Riding experience must be declared at booking. Please note: This price per person applies to groups of at least 4 people. For smaller groups, a surcharge applies.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
