Explore the active volcano of Nea Kameni and swim in the Palaia Kameni Hot Springs on a boat tour from Santorini. Hike to the top of the volcano and enjoy panoramic views of the caldera.
Begin your tour with a departure from the port and head to the active volcano of Nea Kameni. Spend about 1 hour and 15 minutes exploring the area, hiking to see the inactive craters and the active one at the top. Enjoy stunning views of Santorini's caldera.
Next, continue to the island of Palaia Kameni, where the hot springs are located. The boat anchors a few meters outside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, and from there you can swim a distance of about 30 meters to get to the famous mud baths of Palaia Kameni, where the water temperature is 20-25°C.
After dedicating about 30 minutes for this volcanic swim, the excursion concludes, and you head back to the port.

Both swimming in the Hot Springs and the Volcano hike are optional activities. If you wish, you can remain on the boat during these stops.
Swimming in the Hot Springs is not permitted for non swimmers. Guests should be comfortable and confident swimming in open water. Also for your safety, we strongly recommend that guests avoid consuming a heavy meal or alcohol before swimming.
The meeting point is at our office in the old port of Fira, located right next to the cable car station at the port.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
