Zakynthos Ceramic Making Workshop

Join a ceramic workshop in Zakynthos and create your own unique pieces with the help of a local artist. Visit the exhibition - gallery shop, explore a farm to admire some ancient olive trees.
We will meet at Adamieion Ceramic Art Studio in Marineika (near Planos - Tsilivi).
Try to be at our studio 5-10 minutes before starting time.

Begin your experience by visiting the exhibition - gallery - shop to get an idea of Dionysia's work and get some inspiration for your creations. Then, work with Dionysia for 2 to 3 hours to get familiar with clay and create your own unique ceramic memories from Zakynthos island.

You will work in the back garden of our studio, among olive grows, in a nice peacefull atmosphere away from the noisy touristic resorts.
During the workshop you will create two (2) pieces: a turtle and a second more free form (bowl, tile, etc.). The shape, style, and decoration of the pieces depends on your imagination and creativity.

Your ceramics will remain to dry under the sun and then Dionysia will glaze and fire them. They will be ready out from the kiln 72 hours (3 days) after the workshop, depending on weather conditions and the kiln firing schedule.

After the workshop, take a walk in our farm and admire some of the oldest olive trees in Zakynthos.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
