Explore Cuenca, Ingapirca, and El Cajas National Park on a 6-day tour. Discover the World Capital of UFOs, visit the Pumapungo Museum, and experience ancestral energy-cleansing rituals.
Begin your journey with a pickup from the airport or bus terminal and transfer to your museum-hotel. Enjoy dinner and an introductory briefing about the city’s history and symbolism.
On day 2, take a guided walking tour of Cuenca’s Historic Center. Experience a traditional energy-cleansing ritual at the 10 de Agosto Market. Visit the Pumapungo Museum and walk through the traditional artisan district of Las Herrerías. End the day with a scenic evening walk along the Tomebamba River canyon.
On day 3, take an excursion to the Ingapirca Archaeological Complex. Enjoy a guided visit focused on astronomy and Andean cosmology. Return to Cuenca and visit the Turi viewpoint for panoramic city views.
On day 4, visit El Cajas National Park. Take guided walks through Llaviuco, Dos Chorreras, and La Toreadora. Enjoy an ecological and energetic interpretation of the landscape. Take part in a guided meditation at the Sanctuary of the Virgin of El Cajas. Return to Cuenca at sunset.
