The Río Verde canyoning trip is one of the best adventures you can do in Andalusia, taking place in the majestic Sierra de Almijara, just 20 km from Almuñecar and about 50 minutes by car from Málaga.
This activity is designed for all audiences, including those new to canyoning. You will actively walk, swim, and navigate the gorge, encountering natural features sculpted by water over thousands of years.
The dynamic route includes natural slides up to 4 meters, swimming in deep pozas (pools), and the option to take jumps from 3 to 9 meters (all jumps are optional).
This route covers the 'lower section' of the Rio Verde Canyon and takes an estimated 4–4.5 hours to complete. If you are looking for a bigger challenge, inquire about the Río Verde X-Pro version, which is a 7-hour integral canyon requiring a higher physical level.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
