- We’ll begin with a short storytelling session about batik’s rich history
- 2. Learn the Basic
- I will demonstrate and explain each step of the batik-making process, so you can follow along with confidence
- 3. Your first Canting Lines
- This is where the magic happens! You’ll learn how to use the canting — a traditional tool for applying hot wax — to bring your design to life
- 4. Dip, Dye and Discover
- Now it’s time to see your hard work transform into real batik. You’ll carefully dip your fabric into the dye bath and layering in beautiful colors
- 5. Drying and Local Lunch
- While we rinse and hang your batik to dry, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy a special lunch with authentic Indonesian dishes, prepared by Kaum

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
