Step aboard the floating sauna facilities at MeiSauna/BookSauna, surrounded by the mountains and sea. We have two saunas equipped with locker rooms to keep your belongins and to get dressed.

Build up a sweat in our state of the art saunas, enjoy the views across the fjord, and experience the refreshing contrast of Icelandic cold-water dipping directly from the floating facilities.

MeiSauna combines traditional Nordic sauna culture with one of North Iceland’s most beautiful natural settings. Your visit includes a 60-minute sauna session with access to the floating sauna facilities.

Relax in the heat while looking out over the marina, fjord, and surrounding mountains before cooling down in the cold Icelandic water. Repeat the hot-and-cold cycle at your own pace: Sauna → Cold Dip → Relax → Repeat.

Guests should arrive approximately 10 minutes before their booked session
Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older
Guests enter the cold water at their own discretion and should consider weather conditions and their own swimming ability

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
