We at Aurora Viking have decades of experience in guiding people to the Northern Lights and we have realized that entertainment is a crucial part of the excursion, especially if we have to wait for the Aurora to come out.
In order to make the excursion more fun we have Viking weapons and outfits sourced at a local museum to play with and take night time pictures which sometimes come out really nicely.
We also have a telescope that enables us to see distant galaxies and stars, truly a wonderful experience.
Sometimes The Aurora Comes out dancing as soon as we get away from the city lights but sometimes we have to wait for them, what sets us apart from other operators is the activities we can offer to keep our guests entertained while they wait for the magic to happen.
When the is cold starting to set in we have some hot chocolate and pastries to warm us up.
Unfortunately we can´t predict the Aurora with any accuracy so it´s a matter of luck if she shows up or not on the evening we go out, we at Aurora Viking are proud to offer a retry, free of charge, if the guest does not see the aurora on the outing.
