Discover the coast of Catania by sailboat with a 4-hour morning cruise. Swim in a quiet bay and enjoy a Sicilian brunch on board, surrounded by the sea, music, and relaxation.
Come aboard at the port of Catania and start your experience with a refreshing welcome drink and some local tastings—just a small appetizer of what's to come. After a short briefing, we'll set sail along the coast, with the opportunity to learn some basic sailing skills—nothing technical, just the pleasure of feeling part of the crew.
We sail along the Riviera dei Ciclopi, between lava cliffs and volcanic seabeds. We stop in front of the Castle of Aci Castello for a short panoramic break, then continue towards the Faraglioni di Acitrezza. Finally, we reach the Caves of Ulysses near Ognina, where we drop anchor in a quiet bay for a swim. On board you will also find SUPs and floating mats.
Brunch is served on board — fresh Sicilian dishes with a modern twist, prepared with quality local ingredients. It is hearty, simple, and light years away from classic "boat food." With good music and a glass of wine in hand, the atmosphere is relaxed and convivial.
After brunch, we head back to Catania, enjoying the sun and sea. There's still time to relax on the bow or take a last dip before dropping off at the port.

This sailing activity is organized by ASD Saraventu, an amateur sports association. As part of our mission to promote sailing and maritime culture, the experience is designed to introduce participants to the basics of sailing in a practical and relaxed setting. You will spend a full day at sea, learning the fundamentals of sailing under the guidance of our certified crew. In accordance with Italian law, all participants are temporarily registered as members of the association for the duration of the activity. This ensures insurance coverage and complies with the educational and sporting aims of our association.
We will meet at the entry of "Blu Marina," opposite the Vecchia Dogana.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
