The excursion starts from an altitude of 1923 meters (approximately 6,300 ft) at the departure station. Travel in style onboard a new generation cable car and reach the upper station at 2,500 meters (approximately 8,200 ft).

The Funivia dell'Etna is the only company authorized to provide a mechanized ascent on the south side of Mount Etna.

The cable car station “Funivia dell'Etna” is located at the Piazzale Rifugio Sapienza (Nicolosi - Etna Sud). The service is available every day, all year long (according to the weather and/ or technical needs).
Operational hours: from 08.30 to 16:10 (last descent at 15.50).
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
