Ride a quad bike across Mount Etna's forests and lava fields, visit volcanic caves and craters, and discover the landscapes around Nicolosi.
Set off from Nicolosi for a 2.5-hour quad bike adventure across the rugged landscapes of Mount Etna. After a welcome, safety briefing, helmet fitting, and short test ride, follow your local guide onto fully off-road trails through forests, lava fields, broom shrubs, and oak trees.
Ride to Grotta d'Angela, a well-known volcanic cave reached along dirt tracks shaped by the volcano. Continue through the area around Monti Rossi, where volcanic craters reveal the powerful geological history of Etna and Nicolosi.
Except on Sundays, stop at Serafica on the road to Monpilieri to sample local wines and olive oils before continuing the off-road route. Visit the crater of a volcanic cone and reach the entrance to Grotta delle Palombe. Please note that entering this cave requires a separate excursion and booking.
Complete the experience with a stop at the Benedictine Convent before riding back to the starting point in Nicolosi. Each automatic quad bike can carry up to two participants.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
