Begin your day with a comfortable bus pickup just outside Naples Central Station. Sit back and enjoy the ride to Mount Vesuvius, the volcano that shaped Roman history. With your included entrance ticket, have around two hours to explore the crater area at your own pace, walking scenic paths and taking in breathtaking views over the Bay of Naples.
After your visit, the bus will take you directly to Herculaneum, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world. Here, join a 2-hour immersive guided tour led by a passionate local guide. Unlike Pompeii, Herculaneum offers a more intimate experience, with multi-story houses, vibrant frescoes, everyday objects, and even carbonized wooden structures remarkably preserved since the eruption of 79 AD.
At the end of the guided tour, have time to stay inside the archaeological site and continue exploring independently. Once you leave the ruins, your return bus transfer to Naples is included, allowing you to end the day relaxed and inspired.
