Taste and experience the best of Southern Tuscany on a small-group tour with round-trip transportation.
Stroll through scenic vineyards and sample local wines at 2 wineries in Maremma, a hidden gem of Tuscany.

The day begins in Civitavecchia with pickup from your hotel or a designated meeting point. From here, travel approximately 40 miles to Southern Tuscany, an area rich in history and tradition that will impress you with its natural beauty.

The first stop of the day is at Montauto farm. Surrounded by typical Tuscan Maremma landscapes, this is the perfect place to learn about and sample Morellino di Scansano and other wines produced in this region. The winery offers a wide range of products, suitable for every palate and occasion.

Between wineries, stop to take a dip in Saturnia, Cascate del Mulino – one of Italy's most popular hot spring destinations. Take a relaxing soak in pools that are naturally 37°C (98°F) all year round and enjoy the unique landscape.

Next, head to Cantine Vignaioli, a winery founded in 1972 when a small group of producers from Scansano decided to combine their efforts in wine production. Whether you are a beginner or a wine connoisseur, you will surely enjoy the guided tour through the cellar and its surroundings. While you walk, learn the history of Morellino and its journey from the fields to the cellars. Following the tour, taste five wines paired with local products.

At the end of the day, your English-speaking driver will bring the group back to the hotels and meeting points.

• For those staying outside the city center, pickup is also offered from the Terminal Cruise Shuttle Bus at Civitavecchia Port.

All participants who are 12 years and older who are visiting a site in White or Yellow Zones must present a Basic Green Pass, while those in Orange or Red Zones must present a Reinforced Green Pass that is valid in the EU and has a verifiable QR code. Basic Green Passes can be obtained by uploading either proof of vaccination, proof of a Covid-19 infection within the last 6 months, a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before the activity starts, or a negative antigen test taken no more than 48 hours before the activity starts to the Green Pass or Covid Certificate apps. Reinforced Green Passes can only be obtained by uploading either proof of vaccination or proof of a Covid-19 infection within the last 6 months

Pickup time will be approximately 08.50 AM, although due to the traffic conditions you may have to wait 5-10 minutes more • Pickup from Civitavecchia Port: Largo della Pace. TERMINAL CRUISE SHUTTLE BUS. It is the meeting point and last stop of the port free shuttle bus (that picks up you from the boat). From the shuttle bus drop-off area, exit from the port; we'll wait for you just outside of the exit holding a sign with your name on it at 08.45 AM.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
