Discover the fascinating rooms and collections within the Vatican Museums, one of the 5 most visited museums in the world, unique for its density of masterpieces by Raphael, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and the most influential and representative artists of the Italian Renaissance.

Begin your itinerary by passing through courtyards and galleries like ones that feature famous tapestries or geographical maps. Step inside the private apartment of Pope Julius II painted by the talented Raphael. After having enjoyed all these gems, prepare to enter the breathtaking Sistine Chapel where the master painter Michelangelo spent 9 years painting the ceiling and altar wall.

After leaving the chapel, enjoy priority access to The Basilica of Saint Peter, the biggest Catholic church in the world, which is decorated in Barocco style with the supervision of Bernini as director of fine arts. Once inside, step into the first chapel on the right where you will witness one of the most iconic statues in Italian history, the Pieta, carved by Michelangelo at the age of only 23.
