Easy 3-hour trek along the buttonhole of the Sartorius craters, you will also visit a lava flow cave and the famous Alcantara Gorges.
Height difference from 1800m to max 2150m above sea level. The volcanic landscape is of considerable naturalistic and scenic interest, furthermore you can admire the ancient basalt colonnades of the Alcantara Gorges. You will walk among woods, volcanic cones, lava flows and inside the Alcantara river, all punctually enriched by explanations in Italian, English and French from our guides. The excursion is offered with a "pick-up" service directly from your hotel or with a "meeting point" to be agreed. Possibility to vary the route for different needs, specific requests or to satisfy any curiosity.
