Experience a thrilling hot air balloon ride at the foot of Mt. Etna. Admire breathtaking scenery in complete tranquility, in a shared or private group (max. 5 people), with ENAC-certified pilots.
From high in the sky, you will experience unforgettable, almost indescribable landscapes from a completely new perspective during a thrilling hot air balloon flight at the foot of Mount Etna. The experience is available as either an individual ticket for a shared group flight or as a private flight for up to 5 people, depending on the option selected.

The flight takes place at sunrise or sunset, the most evocative times of the day, when the light enhances the beauty of the landscape.

You will fly at low altitude over volcanic landscapes and unspoiled nature, enjoying a unique experience amidst silence and spectacular views. The hot air balloon moves with the wind, and the pilot can only adjust the altitude to follow the air currents.

The experience begins with an introductory briefing, during which the pilot explains how the balloon is set up and the dynamics of the flight. The total duration is approximately 3 hours, with about 1 hour of actual flight time, and the route may vary depending on weather conditions. At the end of the experience, there will be a farewell drink, and participants will receive a certificate.

Start point: Etna area. The hot air balloon requires a large open space for a safe takeoff; the exact location will be determined based on weather and operating conditions.
Departure time: sunrise or sunset. The final time will be communicated by the staff in the days leading up to the experience.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
