Begin with a comfortable transfer from a designated meeting point in Sorrento, then travel to the stunning Amalfi Coast to start your guided hike along the Path of the Gods (Il Sentiero degli Dei).
Follow this ancient route once used to connect the quiet hamlet of Nocelle near Positano with Bomerano in Agerola, just outside Naples. Named for the natural beauty of its scenery, the trail is regarded as one of the most spectacular hiking routes in the world.
Walk past the remains of old farmhouses and meet local shepherds leading mules loaded with wood or milk to small villages scattered along the hills. Pause to admire the dazzling Tyrrhenian Sea beside you, and, on a clear day, catch a glimpse of Capri in the distance.
The path winds through characteristic Mediterranean vegetation, where you can find scrub, heather, euphorbia, true myrtle, orchids in spring, and more. Nature lovers may spot kestrels, peregrine falcons, buzzards, ravens, seagulls, lizards, and harmless snakes along the way.
There are two route options, starting from either Nocelle or Bomerano. The guide will choose the most suitable path according to weather, traffic, and season.
From Nocelle:
