Departure times: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Sunset Tour: from June to September, special departure at 6:00 p.m. with dinner at Rifugio Sapienza

Meeting point: Baita Euro Etna Tourism – Piazzale Funivia Rifugio Sapienza

You will be the star of the tour, driving the quad bike throughout the route. And if you come with a friend, you can both try driving, swapping places during the stops.

The itinerary starts from Rifugio Sapienza towards Etna Park, where we will enter to get a better view of how the morphology of the volcano has changed since the last eruptions. We will pass over explosive craters that are now extinct and cross a forest of Etna pine trees. Our expert tour guide will tell you anecdotes and interesting facts about the ancient origins of the volcano and finally take you inside one of the two hundred lava caves in the park.

Info before departure: please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure for equipment delivery, paperwork, latest information from the INGV volcano bulletin in Catania, and ticket delivery.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
