The excursion to Mount Vesuvius starts from Porta Marina Superiore, the main entrance to the Pompeii excavations. The driver will be waiting for you displaying a sign with the name of our agency.
Through the Vesuvius National Park, you will reach 1000 metres above sea level by bus. From there, you will walk about 25 minutes to reach the crater. After the tour around the great cone, you will meet your driver again.
At the end of the excursion, you will be dropped off at your accommodation or at the main entrance of the Pompeii excavations.
