Croydon in the Mountain gives guests an unforgettable experience on our plantation tour! Our exceptional and fun tour guides bring their own unique flair to the tour, making it engaging and entertaining for all our guests.
Embark on a leisurely quarter-mile walk through the plantation, with three refreshing stops along the way. Learn about our exotic fruits like lychee and jackfruit, and discover our collection of over twenty varieties of tropical heliconias and the African peach.
Learn about the 16 variations of Pineapples. Taste various types of pineapple and indulge in 5-7 fruits in season. Learn about our coffee cultivation and taste the delicious coffee for yourself. Discover our honey and bee production, and gain insights into the fascinating world of bees.

Tour Itinerary
10:00 am
A guided tour of the Croydon Plantation will take you on a journey through the property's rich history as the birthplace of one of Jamaica's national heroes, Samuel Sharpe.
During your scenic nature walk on the plantation, you will learn about the cultivation and production of coffee, beekeeping and honey, as well as have the opportunity to see and sample the exotic fruits in season, including the 19 varieties of pineapples grown on the property.

Lunch at Pavilion to include Jerk chicken served with Rice & Peas, Cucumber slices, Callaloo and Fried ripe Plantain.
1:30 pm
Tour ends and guests guided to the buses and taken back to their respective hotels.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
