Toyosu market has the tuna bid but is very commercial with less proximity to the actual merchants. Tsukiji market has higher proximity to the food and merchants. We will show you the full market, give you the history behind it and introduce the Japanese cuisine from the ingredients.
We will enjoy the finger food available in the market and then take you to a local restaurant where the locals will prefer to go.
We will then proceed to the old town Asakusa area, tour the area with your experienced guide, experience the tea ceremony (reservations must be made 2 days prior) and then we will take you to the Akihabara pop culture area and invite you to a one day stand at the maid cafe.
You will guided through all three towns, Tsukiji, Asakusa and Akihabara and be given the highlights of all three towns as one package to experience the food, the history and the culture of the Tokyo metropolitan.
The tour can be extended should one want to explore the Kabukicho night life scene including sake tasting and more for those who want to full one day package of seeing Tokyo on its entirety.
