Private tea ceremony and calligraphy experience in Namba, the center of tourism in Osaka. Immerse yourself in two aspects of Japanese culture in one place on the same day.
All of our products provide private experiences, so you can take photos anytime and make adjustments toward the satisfaction of your experience. (e.g. I want you to proceed slowly to match my child's pace accordingly. I want to write a letter to someone special by Japanese calligraphy. I want to eat unique Japanese sweets that are extraordinary Japanese sweets. etc...) We will provide a special time for each group. If you have some special requests, please contact or reach us through request form or our email. The experience will be carefully guided by a friendly instructor. This is a completely private experience, so we will closely assess all our participants.

Typical schedule (This schedule can be arranged according to your request.)
■In the calligraphy lesson, first, kindly select the ""theme"" you would want to write today. Please tell me your favorite letters and words. We can also suggest the best Kanji to express yourself. After that, we will give you a detailed lecture about basic practices to be applied. Finally, please choose your favorite piece of colored paper from the various types and print it out. To finish, write your name in Japanese characters, stamp your initials, and you're done! Children 4-5 years old can try water calligraphy, which uses water instead of ink, for free. (Kindly draw freely!)

■In the tea ceremony lesson, you will learn how to make tea and then try making it by yourself. At that time, please choose the one that expresses your feelings today from among several attractive bowls. You can also have Japanese sweets and matcha. Kindly enjoy the taste of Japanese tea deeply and genuinely. If you have no experience with them, please don't worry! We will provide you with a relaxing and enjoyable time to create the best memories in Japan.

Our culture center is located in Namba, the center of tourism in Osaka, so you can easily reach here from Shinsaibashi-suji shopping street!

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
