Description

Watch Grand Sumo from a rare front-row seat beside the Royal Box at Ryogoku Kokugikan, with live commentary from a former sumo wrestler and an authentic chanko-nabe dinner. Limited to 2 guests.
The Nagoya Tournament brought incredible energy — now it's Tokyo's turn. This September, the Grand Sumo Tournament returns to Ryogoku Kokugikan.

For this tour, we've secured a rare front-row seat on the 2nd floor, right beside the Royal Box — a seat almost impossible to book on your own. Feel the heat of the ring and the power of the wrestlers up close.

Your guide is a former professional sumo wrestler who knows the sport inside and out. They'll walk you through the techniques, the rankings, and the wrestlers' backstories live, as the action unfolds — perfect even if this is your very first time watching sumo.

After the tournament, join your guide for an authentic chanko-nabe dinner, the hearty stew sumo wrestlers eat to build their strength. Over the meal, your guide will walk you back through the day's bouts.

Limited to just 2 guests, this ¥90,000-per-person experience is a rare, near-private way to see, hear, and taste sumo the way Japan does.
