Our first stop is the Oarai Isosaki Shrine, founded in 856 and dedicated to Okuninushi, a deity of great importance in Japanese history. Oarai Isosaki Shrine is associated with the nearby Kamiiso-no-Torii, a sacred gate where the gods are said to have descended to earth. hence the name 'Kamiiso.' The iconic 'Kamiiso Torii' gate, standing on the seaside rocks, is a popular attraction. With the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop, this spot is a magnet for photographers, especially during sunrise, sunset, and high tide, offering breathtaking vistas.

Next, we'll head to Nakano Market, which annually draws over a million visitors from all corners of Japan. Situated by the sea, it's the place to savor fresh and affordable seafood caught on the very day. It's about 5.5 kilometers from the beach, making it an easy, leisurely walk if you've already spent time by the shore. You'll cross the Nakaumi Bridge connecting two coastal areas, passing numerous shrines along the way, and enjoy a self-paced lunch.

Our final destination is Hitachi Seaside Park, located along the Pacific coastline in Ibaraki. This coastal dune area, characterized by gentle undulations, blooms with a variety of flowers throughout the year. In spring, tulips, daffodils, and nemophila paint the landscape. Summer boasts sunflowers, lavender, and more. In autumn, kochia, cosmos, and asters steal the show. Winter features ice tulips and plum blossoms, and the park is home to seagulls and swans. From late April to late May, the park hosts more than 4.5 million baby blue-eyes, creating a breathtaking blue-and-white floral carpet against the backdrop of the sea, sky, and lush landscapes that feel straight out of Avatar's Pandora.

Apart from a 100-meter-high Ferris wheel with panoramic views, the joyful amusement park offers a variety of other attractions. The park also provides spaces for outdoor activities, barbecues, and cycling, allowing you to fully embrace nature.

Seasonal tickets are available during spring (approximately 20 days in April to May) and autumn (around 10 days in mid-October). The availability of seasonal tickets depends on factors like plant growth.
