Description
Capture stunning reflections of Mount Fuji at Lake Yamanaka, visit the famous Higashikawa Clock Shop & Lawson Store, explore Asama Park, and discover Lake Kawaguchi’s beauty—all from Tokyo!
**Why Visit?**
Located in the northeastern part of Lake Yamanaka, Hirano Beach is a gravel shoreline where you can capture **breathtaking dual shots** of Mount Fuji and its mirror-like reflection on the lake’s surface—**only possible in the morning** . The beach is also home to resident swans, offering unique opportunities for close-up interactions with nature.
Higashikawa Clock Shop
**Escape to the ‘Sky Ladder Town’**
Step into a serene streetscape straight out of a postcard. The iconic Higashikawa Clock Shop sits at the end of a quiet road that seems to stretch endlessly toward Mount Fuji, creating an illusion of **infinite proximity to the mountain** without ever reaching it. Perfect for those seeking tranquil, cinematic views.
Arakurayama Sengen Park
**Instagram-Famous Fuji Views**
Just a short walk from Shimoyoshida Station, this park is a pilgrimage site for photographers. Climb the stone steps to the **red five-story pagoda** for panoramic views of Mount Fuji framed by seasonal cherry blossoms (spring) or vibrant autumn foliage . Afterward, unwind with a coffee in the charming village below.
Oshino Hakkai (Springs of Mount Fuji)**
**Japan’s Answer to Jiuzhaigou**
A UNESCO-designated natural monument, Oshino Hakkai features eight crystal-clear springs fed by melted snow from Mount Fuji. Wander through the traditional thatched-roof village, cross wooden bridges, and marvel at the **turquoise waters** perfectly reflecting the mountain’s grandeur.
**Fuji’s Most Famous Convenience Store**
This Lawson isn’t your average stop for snacks—it’s a **selfie hotspot**! The store’s minimalist design and Fuji-facing windows create the ultimate backdrop for effortless “lazy Japanese aesthetic” photos, popularized as phone wallpapers worldwide.
**Highlight:** Quick snack + instant Instagram fame = win-win!
Kawaguchiko Oishi Park
**Seasonal Floral Spectacles**
With sprawling flower fields that change with the seasons, Oishi Park offers **postcard-perfect Fuji views** year-round:
- **April:** Tulips, daffodils, and rapeseed flowers
- **May:** Carpet-like moss phlox
- **June–July:** Lavender fields (co-host of the Kawaguchiko Herb Festival)
- **August–October:** Begonias
- **November:** Scarlet maple leaves
**Highlight:** Nature’s palette + iconic mountain vistas = pure magic.
