Day 1: Tokyo → Hakone → Mount Fuji Area
Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Tokyo. Arrive in Hakone and visit the Owakudani Valley, famous for its hot springs and black eggs. Ride the Hakone Ropeway for scenic views of the surrounding area.
Next, take a cruise on Lake Ashi with views of Mount Fuji. Enjoy a traditional Japanese lunch at a local restaurant before driving to the Mount Fuji 5th Station. Take in panoramic views of the mountain and visit the Komitake Shrine.
Check in at a ryokan (hot spring inn) in the Mount Fuji area and enjoy a traditional multi-course Japanese dinner. Relax in an onsen before spending the night at the ryokan.
Day 2: Mount Fuji → Kyoto via Shizuoka
Start your day with breakfast at the ryokan before driving to the Shiraito Falls. Continue to the Nihondaira Yume Terrace for scenic views of Suruga Bay and Mount Fuji.
Stop for lunch in Shizuoka and then drive to Kyoto. Arrive in Kyoto and visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine with its iconic torii gates. Check in at your hotel in Kyoto and stroll through the Gion District, possibly spotting geishas. Enjoy dinner at a local izakaya or traditional kaiseki restaurant.
Day 3: Kyoto → Nara → Osaka → Tokyo
