Experience traditional Japanese craftsmanship in Osaka by creating your own handmade chopsticks.

Choose your favorite from more than 10 types of wood, each with its own unique color, grain, weight, and character. Then, shape, sand, smooth, and oil your chopsticks by hand with guidance from our friendly English-speaking staff.

Make your creation even more special with custom name engraving. Use our original Kanji dictionary to transform your name into unique Japanese Kanji, and watch your chopsticks being engraved in front of you.

Take your finished chopsticks home the same day as a unique and personal souvenir from Japan.

Enjoy a relaxed studio with amazing Shinjuku views, browse a variety of Japanese souvenirs, and discover other traditional experiences such as Kintsugi and Japanese Calligraphy. No previous experience is needed, and families and beginners are welcome.

Our studio is on the 7th floor of the Sanshin Building, located between MONDAY VIBES COFFEE and Tully’s Coffee. It is directly outside Namba Station Exit 21 (Osaka Metro). Please take the elevator to the 7th floor. You will find us as Chopsticks Studio Osaka.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
