Step into the world of Japanese manga at Manga School Nakano, led by professional manga artists with decades of experience in Japan’s comic industry.
In this 2-hour, small-group class, you’ll learn the fundamental techniques of manga illustration, from sketching and inking to applying screentones and highlights.
Your instructor will guide you step by step — explaining the differences between Japanese and Western character design, how facial proportions express personality, and how to create your own manga hero.
Whether you’re a total beginner or already love drawing, you’ll enjoy the creative process of transforming your ideas into manga form.
