Join a 3-hour night sky experience in a dark desert cave, with pickup from your camp or our office in Wadi Rum Village
Experience the beauty of Wadi Rum under a completely natural night sky with this peaceful 3-hour evening activity.
After you finish dinner at your camp or accommodation, we will pick you up at 9:00 PM and transfer you to a remote natural cave located far from any camp lights or artificial lighting. You may also choose to come directly to our office in Wadi Rum Village to start the experience.
The cave is situated in a dark and quiet area, allowing you to enjoy the desert sky in complete darkness with no light pollution. On clear nights, thousands of stars become visible, and you may even see shooting stars crossing the sky.
Comfortable seating will be prepared inside the cave while your local Bedouin host prepares traditional tea and shares insights about desert life and how the stars were historically used for navigation.
This experience lasts approximately 3 hours and is an evening activity only. No overnight stay or accommodation is included.
At the end of the experience, guests who were picked up will be safely returned to their camp or to the village

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
