Head through the city gate and walk around the well-preserved ruins as your guide tells you about the city in its heyday. See arches, theaters, and elegant streets. Snap photos of the stunning Oval Plaza, an egg-shaped public square framed by columns.
After this, return to Amman for a panoramic tour of the city’s highlights. Drive around the downtown area past markets, churches, and mosques such as King Abdullah’s mosque.
