Description
Cycle through Hell's Gate National Park to explore its towering cliffs and canyons, spot native wildlife, and optionally cruise Lake Naivasha on a day trip from Nairobi (hotel pickup included).
Hell's Gate National Park:- Departing from your Nairobi hotel at 7 am, drive to Hell's Gate National Park and stop at a lookout to admire the picturesque Rift Valley cliffs. Hell's Gate is one of Kenya's smaller national parks and can be explored on foot or by bike. Arrive at the gate of Hell Gate around noon and start riding inside Hell Gate for 2 hours. Some people choose to drive, but that’s okay too. Animals seen here include antelopes, dirks, giraffes, gazelles, wildebeests, hartebeests, impalas, mountainbucks, buffalos, hyraxes, zebras, hyenas, jackals, mongooses, baboons, monkeys and porcupines, among others . The park has historically been an important home for the rare Lamogai vulture. Starting at 11am, tour the canyon for 1 hour, capturing beautiful panoramic views of the canyon's small, thin depressions that you can walk underneath. Lake Naivasha:- Then have lunch at 1pm (own expense - available for purchase). 2pm Enjoy a relaxing boat trip on Lake Naivasha (select options) where within 1 hour you can see some of the local wildlife including hippos, buffalo, ospreys, pelicans and more . The trip ends and we return to Nairobi around 6pm
