Description
Embark on a 2-day safari from Watamu to Tsavo East National Park. Enjoy game drives, visit Aruba Dam, and stay overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge or a similar lodge.
Day 1: Watamu/Malindi- Tsavo East
Get picked up from your hotel in Watamu in the morning and drive along the Mombasa-Malindi highway. Arrive at Sala Gate at around 9:00 AM and begin your game drive. Visit various places, including Aruba Dam, a waterhole built by the British Army in 1952 during the colonial era.
After the game drive, check in at the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, relax until 4:00 PM and then begin an evening game drive until sundown. Later, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge or a similar accommodation.
Day 2: Tsavo East – Watamu/Malindi
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. Check out and proceed with a game drive in the park. Have lunch at Sentrim Lodge inside the park, after which you proceed for a game drive en route to the exit. Then, start the drive back to Watamu/Malindi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or residence.
