To visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, you must book at least 24 hours in advance via their website—no walk-ins allowed. The orphanage is inside Nairobi National Park, so you must also pay the park entry fee.
Entry Fees (2025):
Orphanage: $20 per adult / $0 per child (cash only)
Nairobi National Park: $45 per adult / $35 per child (non-residents)
Visiting hours are from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM daily (except Dec 25).

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
