Nairobi Safari Walk starts the journey by picking you up from your Nairobi hotel at 8am. First stop is the Nairobi Safari Trail, an eye-opening tour of Kenya's parks and reserves. It gives you an opportunity to get a sense of what you can expect to see across the country. You'll admire Kenya's rich collection of animals, including rare bongos, white rhinos, albino zebras, cats, antelopes and primates. New South Wales also has about 150 species of native trees. Also learn about their various traditional uses. Nairobi safari trails are designed to blend in with the natural environment. It is made of sisal and rubber poles. Interestingly, even the trash cans and lampshades are covered.
2: Nairobi Animal Orphanage.
The next stop will be at the Nairobi Animal Orphanage, whose main purpose is to house orphaned, injured and abandoned wild animals from all over the country. The facility houses native and exotic wildlife in beautifully maintained enclosures. Ingredients depend on the animal being rescued. You may see: lions, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, warthogs, buffalo, different species of apes, guinea fowl, crested cranes and more.
3 Bomas of Kenya We will take you for lunch (optional at your own expense) and then drive to Bomas, Kenya. Kenya Bomas is the cultural center of Langata, close to the main entrance to Nairobi National Park. Talented resident artists perform traditional dances and songs from various tribal groups in the country, including Arab-influenced Swahili talab music, Kalenjin warrior dances, Embu drumming and Kikuyu circumcision ceremonies. Sure, it's a touristy place, but it was still a wonderful afternoon. Then return to Nairobi hotel.
