This tour to Mulkwakungui will allow you to live an ethnotourism experience where you will enjoy and learn about the native indigenous lifestyle
We will pick you up very early at your place of accommodation, we will leave along the road that leads to Guajira towards Los Linderos (60 km from the historic center of Santa Marta, paved road). Then, from Los Linderos, we will take an unpaved road to Quebrada del Sol. During this transfer there will be breaks from the upper part to contemplate the tropical forest, the sea and the mouth of the Buritaca River.

We will arrive at Quebrada del Sol around 8:30 am. Where we will have a welcome from the local guide, a talk about the history of the region and the nearby rivers. We will begin a walk towards the nearby Kogi community of Mulkwakungui, we will cross the river on foot, at that moment, we will listen to the sound of water in a contemplative way as a connection with nature and we will prepare for the meeting with the Mamo (spiritual leader) on the other side from the river, we continue with the meeting with the Mamo, he will give us the insurance, a cotton cord that we can consider spiritual approval to be able to be in the community and finally we will arrive at Mulkwakungui.

Here we will experience a cultural and ancestral encounter with the community, touring the place where they live, harvest and share. At the end of the tour, we will have the opportunity to carry out the sugar cane process with them and taste its sweet flavor.

We will also be able to learn about their emblematic fabrics, the knowledge that is translated into each stitch and the crafts. After lunch we will take a short break and return to Santa Marta
