Description

A 3-day, 2-night experience getting to know two cultures of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the Kogui indigenous community and Colombian farmers, with a 19-kilometer hike.
Day 1: Encounter with the Campesina Culture
Explore how a traditional campesina family lives in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. You will participate in rural activities such as milking, making artisanal cheese, and sharing a regional lunch. A quiet day where you will enjoy the river and pool at the Campesina farm.

Days 2 and 3: Encounter with the Kogui CommunityAccompanied by indigenous tour guides, you will make entry into ancestral territory in the Sierra Nevada, where you will be welcomed by a family from the Kogui community. You will listen to their stories, participate in cultural activities, and learn about their relationship with nature. You will sleep in a natural environment, surrounded by jungle, rivers, and mountains in hammocks.
