A 9-kilometer round-trip hike through Pico de Loro National Park. You will begin your hike at 1,600 meters above see level, before ascending to the peak of 2,860 meters.
Pico de Loro is located within the Farallones mountains of the Cali National Natural Park (PNN), Farallones de Cali. Once there, feel at peace with yourself and your surroundings, breathing in the fresh air of the Pacific Ocean.
Pico de Loro is inhabited by more than 540 species of birds and other animals, consisting of many species that are endangered or unique to Colombia. Here, more than 30 rivers that supply the southwest of Colombia are born. It is a nature lover’s paradise, and you will feel greatly privileged to experience its beauty.
The length of your hike will be 4.5 kilometers one-way (2.8 miles), for a total distance of 9 kilometers (5.6 miles). The terrain will be extremely diverse and may be muddy and slippery. You will ascend from 1,600 meters to the pinnacle of 2,860 meters above sea level. As such, this activity is only for experienced trekkers with a good physical condition. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be returned to your nearby lodging.
