Day 1: Poás Volcano & Coffee Experience
Begin your adventure with a scenic drive through the mountains of Alajuela to Poás Volcano National Park. If the weather permits, enjoy the breathtaking views of the volcano crater.
Afterward, savor a traditional Costa Rican lunch before heading to a coffee plantation. Learn about the coffee-making process, from plant to cup, and enjoy a tasting of local products. End your day with a delicious dinner at a lodge in the Vara Blanca area, where you will spend the night.
Day 2: La Fortuna Adventure Day
After breakfast, transfer to La Fortuna and visit the Hanging Bridges Park. Walk through rainforest trails, observe wildlife, and take in amazing views of Arenal Volcano.
After lunch, visit La Fortuna Waterfall and enjoy a nature walk. If conditions allow, take a refreshing swim in the waterfall pool. Spend a relaxing afternoon soaking in natural hot springs before having dinner and spending the night in La Fortuna.
Day 3: Tenorio Volcano & Río Celeste Experience
Start your day with breakfast before transferring to Tenorio Volcano National Park. Embark on a guided hike through rainforest trails, observe wildlife, and visit the famous Río Celeste Waterfall.
After lunch, enjoy a chocolate tour experience. Learn about the history and production of cacao and taste traditional cacao products.
