Your morning or afternoon begins at the entrance, where your owner-guide welcomes a small group of no more than 8. Over three hours, you walk through the cloud forest while your guide shares the natural history of the property: forest ecology, flora identification, and the medicinal plants that grow along the trails.
The heart of this tour is the story itself. Your guide tells how Finca Lantana became a protected biological corridor in Cerro Plano, Monteverde — a personal conservation journey woven into every stop along the trail.
Then it becomes hands-on: depending on the season, your group plants a tree, contributing directly to the ongoing reforestation of the corridor.
The experience closes with unlimited Costa Rican coffee. Available in English, Spanish, and French. Entry fee included.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
