Description

Mushroom hunting is exciting for all age and status people. Walking in the forests recharges and cleanses from bad energy. Enjoy the healing power of Nature and delicious meals prepared yourself.
You will enjoy the trip to the forest selected by guide according weather conditions and seasons. On the way You will be introduced to edible and non-edible and poisonous mushrooms. In Latvia we have more than 4000 mushroom species, edible more than one hundred, but in fact we are collecting about 10 species. I will explain how to collect them correctly and what is usually cooked of them. In the forest I will help to check the mushroom basket and the good ones will be packed for future preparation. After tour guests will be delivered back to hotel. The best time for mushroom hunting is end of summer and autumn, but some mushrooms like chanterelles and boletus are ready in June. To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
