Most excursions from Ohrid focus on the lake or larger cities. This tour takes you inland, where Albania reveals a more authentic and contrasting side.

After crossing the border, we stop in Pogradec, Albania’s only city on Lake Ohrid. Here, you will enjoy a coffee break and take a short walk through the local market — a first introduction to daily life in Albania.

We then continue to Korçë, one of the country’s most important cultural cities. During a guided walk, you will notice the contrasts that define Albania — between old and new, rich and poor — all within a compact city center. Afterward, there is time to sit down, rest, and enjoy a meal.

In the afternoon, we visit a small village near Lake Prespa, where life has changed little over the years. You will meet a local resident, hear her story, and visit a traditional house that offers insight into how people lived in the past.

On the way back to Ohrid, we drive through Galicica National Park, stopping at viewpoints overlooking both Lake Prespa and Lake Ohrid.
