An opportunity to experience ancient cave monasteries, authentic rural life, refreshing natural springs, and breathtaking nature, all ending with the taste of delicious, locally made traditional food.
Starting from Port of Ohrid we drive towards the northern part of Ohrid Lake, mountain Jablanica and two cave monasteries. The first monastery we visit is Kalishta complex monastery only 4km from city of Struga. Built in the cave openings on the lake side, St. Marry cave monastery is one of the well preserved cave monasteries found on the lake side dating from late 13th and beginning of 14th centuries. Tour continues to the border with Albania to a small fisherman village, v. Radozda. On the hill above the village built high in the rocks will find 13th century cave church St. Archangel Michael. Then 20 min ride towards Jablanica mountain we arrive at the traditional village, v.Vevcani where you’ll enjoy village scenery and the mountain springs Vevcani springs on top of the village. After the short walk an organise traditional food will be served in an Etno-house.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
