Encore Melaka, envisioned by Datuk Wira Boo Kuang Loon, founder and CEO of Yong Tai Berhad, began its planning in 2013 and debuted on 7 July 2018. As Southeast Asia’s first 360-degree rotating theatre, this award-winning architectural marvel features a 1,800-seat auditorium and a 240-meter-long stage equipped with cutting-edge technology, including water, mist, multi-lifting, and multi-storey stages.

Designed to merge tradition with innovation, Encore Melaka presents immersive performances that creatively portray the city’s rich heritage. Strategically positioned near Melaka’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, it aims to enhance the city’s global appeal, stimulate economic growth, and generate job opportunities for the local community.
