Description

Explore the south of the Island with it's rich history, Maltese culture and magnificent scenery...... The Historical Tour.
We kick off the tour at Malta’s capital city Valletta. Built in the 16th century on the order of Grand Master Jean Parisot de la Valette, who gave it its name, the fortified Baroque city is a true gem packed with 25 churches, countless palaces and grand old town houses. It retains all of its charm through the daily hustle and bustle of a working city. Don’t miss the breathtakingly beautiful St John’s Co-Cathedral and the awe-inspiring view of Grand Harbour from Upper Barrakka Gardens.
After exploring Valletta, we drive to the other side of the Grand Harbour to visit the ancient Three Cities of Birgu (Vittoriosa), Bormla (Cospicua) and Isla (Senglea). The St. Angelo Fortification, The Inquisitor’s Palace, and Il-Gardiola Gardens are the top three of the main attractions one can visit. The narrow medieval streets create the most amazing characteristic of these beautiful old cities.
Pick up and Drop off from Hotel/Location is included.
